Called the Gate of Hades, the 2nd House serves an ambivalent buffet of agency, chance, abundance & austerity, reminding us of unavoidable reliance on often-unreliable resources. However, taking the perspective of the 2nd House and applying it more broadly to the entire chart can reveal reserves of support and caches of insight leading to a deeper sense of existential security.
